Services

Andrews County Tax Office collects property taxes for the County and Road & Bridge. Taxes are routinely mailed to property owners the first week of October. We offer a 3% discount for early payment in October, 2% in November, and 1% in December. Taxes will be considered delinquent as of February 1st and penalty and interest fees are added to the base tax. Taxes that remain unpaid as of July 1st may incur an additional penalty to defray the costs of collection efforts.

Our office currently does not process registration or titles for Boats and Motors, however, these forms can be obtained at our office or downloaded at www.tpwd.state.tx.us/boat/title.

Our office also handles the registering of voters for Andrews County. Deadlines to register to vote are 30 days prior to the scheduled election. Information regarding voter registration may be obtained at www.sos.state.tx.us.

Vehicle Registration Titles

The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) offers a wide variety of specialized license plates. You can show your support for your favorite Texas College or University, the Conservation (Horned Lizard License Plate), State of the Arts or one of many other organizations and worthy causes with a specialized license plate. By clicking on the "Specialized License Plates" button will take you to the TXDOT site where you can see the variety of plates offered and the fees charged for each.
