Our Mission
To provide fun, safe and affordable youth programs according to the National Standards for Youth Sports, where all kids can participate and learn.
Opportunities
The ACYRC offers a variety of recreational opportunities for
the youth of Andrews and surrounding communities. Our goal is to teach
the fundamentals of each sport we conduct throughout the year with an
emphasis on participation of each child no matter what their ability.
We are a recreational league. We structure our programs to keep the
“win at all cost” mentality to a minimum.
The cost for the players who participate in our programs is
surprisingly low. We have consistently lower fees than the surrounding
communities. Thanks to the leadership in our county government we are
well funded. This translates into lower participation fees and
excellent equipment for our kids to use. The county maintained fields
that we play on are some of the best in West Texas.
Currently we offer these sports:
- Football
- Cheerleading
- Basketball
- T-Ball - Coach Pitch
- Soccer
In addition to outdoor activities the ACYRC also has two large
recreation rooms.
Located at our facility are billiards, ping-pong, air hockey, foosball,
PlayStation II, six computers with internet access, variety of board
games and a snack area with a soft drink machine.
Children under six years of age must be accompanied by a parent or
legal guardian. No Exceptions.
