Andrews County Health Department (ACHD) provides primary health care services (PHC) to Andrews County residents who have no medical insurance and meet the program income requirements (less than 200% fpl). The program provides access to basic health care services for those individuals who are unable to access the same care through insurance or other programs. The services include:
- Diagnosis and treatment
- Family planning services
- Health education
- Laboratory
- Nuclear medicine
- Preventive health services including immunizations
- X-ray
- Other appropriate diagnostic services

Eligibility Criteria
For an individual to receive services through PHC, three criteria must be met:
- Gross family income at or below 200% of the adopted Federal Poverty Level
- A Texas resident
- Not eligible (or potentially eligible) for other programs/benefits providing the same services
