  1. Open bids for Ford F250XL for the Andrews County Extension Agent at 9:00 a.m. and take action as necessary.

Minutes:

  1. Approve the minutes from the Commissioners' Court regular meeting held February 07,2023
  2. Approve the minutes from Commissioner's Court Special meeting held February 07,2023
6.

Public Forum:

  1. Open the floor for public forum. (Public comments, announcements and presentations will be limited to a maximum of three (3) minutes, unless a member of the court requests additional time for the presenter.)
7.

Department Reports:

  1. Hear presentations from the following departments regarding the monthly reports of all fines imposed and collected, all judgments rendered and collected for the use of the County, and all jury fees collected in the month of January 2023, pursuant to Local Government Code 114.044 and Texas Government Code 51.402.

County Judge Request:

  1. Discuss and Consider Accepting Resignation of Andrews County Ag Extension Agent Andrew W. Counts, effective February 28,2023. Take action as necessary.

Airport Request:

Discuss And Consider approving the Hangar Lease Agreement between Andrews County and John Loyless for leasing Hangar D5 in the amount of $115.00 per month at the Andrews County Airport, effective February 14, 2023.

Golf Course Request:

  1. Discuss and consider the finalized Andrews County Golf Tournament Calendar. Take action as necessary.
11.

Fire Marshal / Environmental Specialist Request:

  1. Hear a presentation from Mike Cook concerning subscribing to the software application “Veoci” for the management of incidents and special events. Discuss and take action as necessary.
  2. Hear a presentation from Mike Cook concerning the update of the countywide Emergency Operation Plan. Discuss and take action as necessary

Precinct 3 Request:

  1. Discuss and consider approving the signing of the John Deere contract for the purchase of a 2023 John Deere 325G Compact Track Loader for Precinct 3 for the price of $84,000.00 less trade in of $21,000.00 leaving a payment balance of $63,000.00. Sourcewell contract number 032119-JDC.   
  2. Discuss and consider approving the signing of the John Deere contract to lease a John Deere 672G Motor Grader with 6WD.  This is a 5-year lease agreement for $42,186.78 per year with an option to purchase.

Investment Committee Report:

  1. Hear the presentation of and consider approving the Investment report for the fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2022, as presented by the Andrews County Investment Committee in accordance with the Public Funds Investment Act Chapter 2256 Texas Government Code.
14.

County Auditor Request:

  1. Discuss and consider approving the Coverage Quotation for Storage Tank Liability Insurance Policy from Weatherby-Eisenreich Insurance Agency in the amount of $1,497.00 for the above-ground fuel storage tanks at the airport.
15.

County Auditor Reports:

  1. Consider approving the various budget amendments for the 2022-2023 Budget year under Local Government Code 111.010(d).
  2. Consider approving the payment of financial obligations and payroll for Andrews County and cancel all warrants.
